The VWR Signature Series features an easy to operate microprocessor controller, with multiple inputs to continuously monitor chamber conditions. It provides users with precise keypad operation for accurate display of temperature, CO2, and relative humidity. Temperature and CO2 functions can be quickly calibrated with the keypad. Humidification is achieved through natural evaporation of water from the humidity pan and RH% is displayed digitally to a resolution of 1.0%.
The 19 gallon water jacket, with triple wall construction, ensures an exceptional temperature uniformity of ±0.5°C. Designed to eliminate cold spots - the prime source of condensation and contamination - the water jacket also features the unique VWR copper strip, placed in the water jacket to deter bacterial growth.
The Signature Series has a unique shelf design that can be installed and repositioned easily and removed just as quickly during routine cleaning. All interior shelving, standards, and shelf slides can be removed without any tools. The inner chamber is fitted with a removable gasket, that is autoclave safe. Designed to remove and destroy airborne microbes, the HEPA filtration system isolates particulates and eliminates cross contamination by continuously drawing the chamber air through the filter. With a 99.7% efficiency rating at 0.3 microns and a copper housing, you can rest assured contamination will be trapped and not reproduce.
