The Parker/X-Series combines the functions of a 12,800 step/rev micro-stepping drive and a complete indexer with an RS-232C interface in one compact system. The CX Series is designed to control brushless 1.8 degree hybrid step motors. It will operate with almost any standard size 23, 34 or 42 hybrid step motor. The built-in indexer also features 71 commands, a daisy-chain capacity for up to 8 devices, and 2K bytes non-volatile program memory for story up to 7 multiple move sequences.
Additional features include:
- Advanced 201Khz pulse width modulated amplifiers capable of 5 amps/phase at supply voltages from 12 to 9011
- Torques up to 700 oz/in
- Jumper selectable motor current from 0.15 to 5 amps/phase (unipolar)
- High speed operation to 3,000 rpm
- Operates with virtually any 6 or 8 lead hybrid step motor provided by Compurnotor or the user
- Sequence upload. download. and memory verify
- Optically isolated home and end-of-travel limit inputs
The CX-Drive Parker Stepper Motor Drive may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
