The Ametek / Elgar / Sorensen DHP 50 has three operational modes, constant-voltage, constant-current and constant-power. The DHP Family uses second generation control technology for improved programmability and performance. This technology allows 9 auto sequence steps, each step can be up to 99,999 seconds in duration. Combining all the steps allows a maximum auto-step program 27.7 hours long. Various voltages, currents and durations can be programmed for each step.

The Elgar DHP50-265M2 High Power Programmable Supply may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
