The NSA 400 is the stand-alone version of the latest noise generator that may also be found in a DLS 400 or DLS 400E.
The NSA 400 allows the user to add a wide variety of impairments to the signals at one end of the line, and to test telecommunications transmission systems according to specifications recommended by both European (ETSI) and North American (ANSI) and International (ITU-T) standards bodies. It is particularly suitable for testing Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Loop (ADSL) transmission products, but can be used to test many other digital transmission products as well.
At one time, Exfo owned a portion of Consultronics.
