The EVI PCA VEM Frame Grabber is required to run the AdeptVision product on Adept controllers. The EVI is a single-slot 6U VME board that serves as the vision interface. There is a camera/strobe connector for camera and strobe signals. The EVI board can support up to four cameras and two strobe lights. The Video Bus connector provides direct video-bus signal connections to the optional VGB board. AdeptNet is required when using the EVI with AdeptWindows.

The EVI OMRON PCA VME Frame Grabber may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
