The Force Computers / Motorola SYS68K / DRAM-8C Memory Board is a high performance VMEbus based memory board that combines the high RAM capacity of dynamic RAM devices with a high data throughput based on the design of the board. There are memory capacities up to 32 Mb and access times of 80 ns for write or 230 ns for read are possible.

Error detection secures against single bit failures. Write protection and board protection by the front panel switches ensures high performance for program and system development.

Easy handling by the user is guaranteed by the use of rotary and DIP switches for important initializations.

The DRAM-8 has been designed for memory expansion, mass storage, backup storage, software development, as well as other design features.

The Motorola DRAM-8C SYS68K Memory Board may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
