The FLIR Systems / Point Grey Research Grasshopper2 Series Machine Vision Cameras offer users a GigE Vision digital interface and a FireWire 800 (1394b) interface. The Grasshopper2 uses the same form factor as the existing Grasshopper and a unique selection of image sensors, and adds several new features, including enhanced opto-isolated general purpose I/O and improved imaging performance.
The Point Grey Research Grasshopper2 GS2-GE-20S4M-C Machine Vision Camera may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Enables synchronized capture for repeatable measurements and pattern recognition, suitable for inspection and alignment workflows. Includes tripod mounting adapter.
