The Agilent 80000 Data Generator System consists of 2 parts:
1. Agilent E2900A Mainframe
2. Agilent E2901A Expansion Frame
The Agilent 80000 is of modular structure using plug-in cards with a wide range of data generation and stgumulus characteristics. This allows the user to configure the system with only those modules needed for a particular application.
Teh Agilent 80000 Data Generator System provides a modular platform for performance data and clock generators that offer precise test patterns to characterize high performance devices. These devices may be fast DACS for image presentation, multi-channel receivers, parallel to serial converters, custom LSI ICs, and more.
The basic system is a Mainframe with bootup/configuration software, a Microprocessor Board, and an internal Clock Board fitted, to enable it to be used as an E2900A Data Generator. Up to three Agilent E2901A Expansion Frames can be connected to the Mainframe.
The E2900A Agilent Mainframe may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
