Features:

  • Can Carry up to 60 Voice Channels on E1
  • Can Carry Signaling Information Like SS7
  • Can Carry a Combination of Voice and Signaling Data
The Emerson / Heurikon PM/E1 / PM/T1 E1 and T1 PMC Interface modules can be used in both voice and signaling applications, enabling customers to transport multiplexed voice and signal data from one system to another over a single standard interface. The T1/E1 interfaces can be used to carry up to forty-eight (T1) or sixty (E1) voice channels from system to system, and can also be used to carry signaling information such as SS7 or a combination of voice and signaling data. The modules currently support Wind River's VwWorks RTOS with advanced development tools, and future OS support will include ISI's pSOS operating system. They also offer full compliance with FCC Part 68, ensuring that products can be effectively connected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).

The Emerson PM/E1-40MHz-E1422-P14/I/O E1 PMC Interface may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
