Functions
Provides VXIbus interconnection for up to 5 D-size modules with high-speed parallel data transfer capabilities. Features VMEbus P1/P2 connectors plus VXI-specific P3 connectors for local bus, trigger, clock, and module identification signals. Supports 32-bit addressing and data transfers at rates up to 40 MB/s. Includes power distribution rails, IACK daisy-chain, and bus grant arbitration logic. Enables instrumentation systems for automated test, data acquisition, and control applications requiring modular, computer-based measurement architectures with precise timing and synchronization capabilities.
