The Colfax ZeDrive DC Motor Drive consists of a ZeDrive, mounted in a NEMA 12 control cabinet. All internal cabinet wiring is complete and prewired to a terminal strip for customer terminations.
The standard ZeDrive DC Motor Drive supports 1-phase 115/230VAC, 50/60Hz power input, which is selectable by a selection switch inside of the drive. It enables ZeDrive to drive DC motors from 1/4 to 2 HP.
An optional Analog IO card can be used for either 0~20mA or 0~10VDC analog signals, handling setpoints, feedback, or reference signal inputs, and output the value of any variable or parameter in the drive.
ZeDrive can receive three frequency inputs, supporting magnetic pickup (zero-crossing) or open collector type sensor. It comes standard with a RS-485 as well as a RS-422 computer interface, allowing to monitor or alter variables, parameters, as well as some command functions, such as run, stop.
The ZeDrive Colfax DC Motor Drive may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
