- Full Duplex Operation in Both 10/100 Modes
- TCP/UDP Checksum Off Loading
The GE Fanuc / Ramix PMC610J4 delivers the highest networking performance with four 10/100Mbit Ethernet interfaces. Four 10/100BaseTX engines are each capable of full duplex operation in both 100 and 10 Mbit modes. Each of the Ethernet/PCI interfaces includes a powerful DMA engine with very deep FIFO buffers. This assures continuous, full bandwidth operation with minimum PCI overhead. A state of the art PCI/PCI bridge couples the Ethernet interfaces to the host PCI bus, assuring high performance with minimum PCI loading. The PCI bus can run at 66 MHz. In addition, card edge PCI systems can be accommodated using GE Fanuc Embedded Systems' PMC239 adapter for rapid prototype and development.
