Features:
- 100Base-FX, AUI Cabling
- 100MBPS Ethernet/Fast Ethernet Connection
- LANVIEW On-Board Diagnostic Indicators
The Enterasys / Cabletron FOT-F2 Ethernet Fiber Optic Transceiver features 100Base-FX and AUI cabling, 100MBPS ethernet or fast ethernet connections, a user-selectable switch to enable and disable the SQE (heartbeat test). In addition, every transceiver features LANVIEW on-board diagnostic indicators, a series of LEDs that allows for quick detection of network problems.
The Enterasys FOT-F2 Fiber Optic Transceiver Unit may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
