The 7200B is the result of applying decades of experience in developing test instrumentation for both military and commercial radio applications. The 7200B combines innovative design, VIAVI patented technologies, and valued feedback from customers to provide a versatile instrument to test current and future radio systems.

Interfaces include J1/J2 connectors per CompactPCI specification with additional P2 connector for PXI-specific timing and triggering signals. Supports hot-swap capability, system reference clock distribution at 10 MHz, and local bus segments for high-bandwidth instrument clustering.
