The Turner Designs / Turner BioSystems TBS-380 Mini-Fluorometer is a dual-channel fluorometer designed for quick, easy, and accurate
fluorescence measurements. When properly calibrated with a standard of known concentration, the TBS380 displays the actual concentration of the measured compound. The new Minicell adaptor design
enables the user to measure compounds at a low concentration with a low assay volume (e.g. dsDNA at
1ng/mL using PicoGreen, and RNA at 1 ng/mL using RiboGreen).
The Turner BioSystems TBS-380 Mini-Fluorometer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Functions
Dual-channel fluorometer with UV (365-395 nm) and Blue (465-485 nm) LED excitation for rapid fluorescence measurements. Measures samples in 10x10 mm cuvettes (2 mL minimum) or Minicells (50 µL minimum) using photodiode detectors spanning 300-1000 nm. Features single-point calibration, 12-bit ADC resolution, 4 orders of magnitude dynamic range, discrete and continuous reading modes, internal data logging, and RS-232 interface connectivity for laboratory assays including DNA/RNA quantitation and reporter gene analysis.
