- 1 MB of SRAM per C40 (512 KB per Local and Global Buses)

The Spectrum Signal Processing VX8 Carrier Board is part of Spectrum's series of VXIbus boards based upon Texas
Instrument's TMS320C4x DSPs. The VX8 Carrier Board delivers high performance
signal processing based on a modular DSP architecture that allows you to create
powerful DSP-based systems for the VXI environment.
The Vecima MDC40SS2-60 TIM Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The MDC40SS2-60 architecture features a specialized C40 digital signal processor running at a clock speed of 60 MHz to execute complex mathematical algorithms with minimal overhead.
