The Giga-tronics / Ascor 3000-8 VXI Switch Module provides a versatile, off-the-shelf Switch Tree environment that can be simply plugged-in and easily configured to meet particular, and evolving, switching needs. It is designed for use with Digital Multimeters, or to function as a general purpose scanner - and is the ideal switch-ing element in any measurement application where clean, transparent switching is a must. It can also be software configured, without hardwiring, as a 60x1 four wire switch tree or as a 120x1 two wire tree. Each channel is individually controlled to provide maximum versatility - for example, more than one relay in each given tree can be closed at the same time. The outputs can also be combined to make a single shielded 240x1 tree.

The Giga-tronics 3000-8 VXI Switch Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
