Features:
- Supports Data Rates for Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and Infiniband up to 2.5 Gbps
- Hot Pluggable
- Serial ID Functionality
The Methode Electronics DM7038 DataMate Copper SFP to HSSDC2 Transceiver is compliant with the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). The module supports Fibre Channel to 2.125 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet to 2.5 Gbps and Infiniband to 2.5 Gbps. The HSSDC2 module is a high performance integrated duplex data link for bi-directional communication over copper cable. The hot pluggable feature allows insertion or removal of the transceiver without the need to remove power from the system.
The Methode Electronics DM7038 DataMate Copper SFP to HSSDC2 Transceiver may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
