The MilesTek 5-Stub Series is a family of MIL-STD-1553B transformer-coupled stub bus couplers designed for military, aerospace, avionics, simulation, test, and defense communications systems. These couplers provide electrical isolation between terminal equipment and the primary MIL-STD-1553 data bus while maintaining signal integrity and fault tolerance throughout the network.

The series incorporates transformer-coupled architectures and precision resistor networks to support MIL-STD-1553 bus interconnections. Several configurations have been manufactured, including non-terminated, single-terminated, and dual-terminated versions, along with different transformer ratios and bus-jack arrangements.

The 5-Stub Series is intended for use in aircraft avionics, military vehicles, weapons systems, mission computers, simulators, test equipment, and other 1553 data bus installations requiring reliable stub isolation and distributed bus connectivity.

The Infinite Electronics 90-52215 5-Stub Bus Coupler may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
