The Creative Electronic Systems MFCC 8442 PowerPC-Based PPMC Multifunction Computing Core provides a computing kernel on PMC. It is equipped with a PowerPC 750CXe at up to 600MHz and up to 256MB of SDRAM memory. The MFCC 8422 features either standalone operation or operation under a supported OS, 16 MB Flash EPROM, 16 Mb Serial Flash, a 64-bit PowerPC data bus, and burst support.
The Mercury Computer Systems MFCC 8442 PowerPC-Based PPMC Multifunction Computing Core may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
