The Motorola / Symbol LL-500 OmniLink Universal Interface Controllers enhance your investment in automatic bar code data capture systems. These controllers give you the cost-effective input flexibility you need to connect a wide range of bar code collection and automatic data entry devices to your host computer. Flexible and easy to use, OmniLink controllers adapt from one system to another with a quick cable change. The compact OmniLink can be mounted vertically to improve your work space efficiency. It is easily programmed via bar code menu scanning. Its enhanced set of interfaces includes OCIA, IBM 4683/4684, OCR, single/dual port RS-232C, and POS/PC keyboard wedges for popular terminals such as IBM, NCR, DEC, HP, Fujitsu, Compaq, and Wyse, among others. Added inputs are a secondary scanner port for laser or wand, auxiliary RS-232C data input, dual-track and single-track magnetic stripe readers, and MICR.
The Motorola LL-500-I200 Omnilink Universal Interface Controllers may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
