Advantech PCM-3718 PC/104 12-Bit DAS Module with Programmable Gain Overview

Features:

  • 12-bit A/D Converter, Up to 100 kHz Sampling Rate with DMA Transfer
  • Software Programmable Gain Value for Each Analog Input Channel
  • Software Selectable Input Range for Each Analog Input Channel
  • Two 8-bit Digital Input/Output Channels, TTL Compatible
The PCM-3718 Series consist of high performance multifunction data acquisition modules that attach to the PC/104 connector on the CPU card or PC/104 module. It offers 12-bit A/D conversion and digital input/output.

The automatic channel-scanning circuitry and the onboard SRAM provide the ability to perform multiple channel A/D conversions with DMA and individual channel gains.

These PC/104 modules are fully software compatible with the popular PCL-818H and PCL-818HG. This makes rich software support and a wide variety of external signal conditioning boards available.

The PCM-3718 Series is excellent for data acquisition, process control, automatic testing and factory automation.

12-bit analog-to-digital conversion module for PC/104 data acquisition with a programmable gain amplifier; enables multi-channel input with selectable input ranges, supporting differential or single-ended sensing; provides timing and data transfer with host via PC/104 bus, including channel scan sequencing, triggering options, and data buffering; designed for rapid acquisition and digital conversion of analog signals, delivering digital words corresponding to input voltages with programmable gain to extend dynamic range and improve resolution on lower-level signals; includes configuration and status controls for channel gain, range, and conversion status.
