The Sartorius Stedim Biotech BIOSTAT Aplus is a bioreactor that is designed for cultivating microorganisms and cells at various reactor volumes. It can be used to conduct studies on developing and optimizing fermentation procedures and to perform limited-volume production fermentation processes in a reproducible way, efficiently and cost effectively.
The Sartorius Stedim Biotech BIOSTAT Aplus Bioreactors can be used to study and optimize fermentation processes using different operating volumes and different framework conditions (temperature, speed, aeration, pH | pO2, media composition, addition of active agents that speed up or slow down cells' metabolism) in parallel.
The measurement and control system "micro DCU system" enables online measurement, control, and evaluation of the process parameters (e.g. temperatures, pH and DO (pO2)).
The Sartorius Stedim Biotech BIOSTAT Aplus (CC) Bioreactor may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Provides real-time monitoring and data logging of critical process parameters through integrated sensors and control loops. Operates with standard laboratory power requirements and interfaces with external gas supplies, harvest vessels, and process control software for scalable bioprocess development and production applications.
