The LFE Instruments 2000 Series Microprocessor Controllers Posses extensive capability to control a multitude of different single and two loop systems. While temperature control is the most popular application, the 2000 Series instruments can control any process or machine that provides a current or voltage measurement input signal and can function from a relay or analog output signal in a variety of control forms. These output functions may be alarm, on-off, or PID.
The LFE Instruments 2010 Microprocessor Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Functions
The 2010 controller provides single-loop temperature control with microprocessor-based PID algorithm for precise thermal regulation. Primary output drives solid-state relay for heating element control through time-proportioning voltage pulses. Accepts J-type thermocouple input for temperature sensing with linearization and cold junction compensation. Features configurable off-timer alarm function for process monitoring. Operates standalone without communication interfaces in this configuration. Standard panel-mount enclosure with front-facing operator interface including digital display and programming buttons. Common applications include industrial ovens, heat treating equipment, plastic processing machinery, laboratory furnaces, and general thermal process control requiring accurate temperature regulation with basic alarm capabilities.
