The Eaton / Cutler-Hammer 1500 PanelMate Power Series Operator Station eliminates the need for PLC I/O modules to support the operator interface, as well as the need of most PLC/controller ladder logic needed for operator interface support. It often occupies less space than conventional operator stations. This provides greater flexibility to customize the appearance and content of displays, and to expand and make changes at a later date. The 1500 PanelMate Power Series can communicate to hundreds of varieties of PLCs/controllers, directly to one PLC or to multiple PLCs and PLC and controller networks, as well as multiple networked PLC simultaneously from the same screen. PanelMate stations physically connect to PLCs or their networks via cabling directly to a PLC port, network connection node or interface module. It can support up to 2 serial ports, plus a PLC network interface card, allowing simultaneous connection.

The Eaton 1570KHX PanelMate Power Series Operator Station may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
