The Beckhoff EL6652-0010 is an EtherCAT terminal that functions as an EtherNet/IP Slave (Adapter), enabling bidirectional data exchange between an EtherCAT control system and an EtherNet/IP Scanner/Master. The terminal allows EtherCAT process data to be presented as EtherNet/IP assemblies, making it suitable for integrating Beckhoff EtherCAT systems with Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, and other EtherNet/IP-based control platforms.
The terminal features a switched dual-port 100 Mbps Ethernet interface and supports both Unicast and Multicast EtherNet/IP communications. In addition to a primary EtherNet/IP slave interface, the EL6652-0010 can optionally present a second virtual EtherNet/IP slave, allowing communication with multiple EtherNet/IP controllers or the transfer of larger process datasets.
The device is configured through the EtherCAT master (typically TwinCAT) and can exchange up to 1 kB of input data and 1 kB of output data between EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP networks.

Provides two RJ45 Ethernet ports for network connectivity and uplink capability at up to 100 Mbps. Supports mapping of cyclic I/O and explicit messages, transparent data transfer, and synchronization with EtherCAT devices. Interfaces sensors and actuators through the EtherCAT terminal while presenting an EtherNet/IP slave profile on the network, with copper Ethernet performance at 100 Mbps.
