The Tektronix / Sony AWG610 2.6 GS/s, Single-channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator is a waveform generator that can generate simple and arbitrary waveforms and generates one-channel differential output arbitrary waveforms and function generator waveforms.

The AWG610 Arbitrary Waveform Generator allows the user to create sine, triangle, square, ramp, and complex waves, as well as direct current and noises signals. It allows the user to set waveform attributes such as frequency, amplitude, and offset.

You can remotely control the instrument by sending commands through both the GPIB and 10BASE-T interfaces, as well as transfer waveform data directly from a digital storage oscilloscope to the waveform generator instrument using the GPIB and 10BASE-T interfaces. This enables the user to use the instrument in combination with other measurement equipment and a computer.

Single-channel arbitrary waveform generation at 2.6 GS/s sample rate with 8-bit vertical resolution. Generates complex modulated signals, pulse trains, and custom waveforms via waveform editing software. Features 16M-point waveform memory, marker outputs for synchronization, and sequencing capabilities. Outputs through 50-ohm BNC connector with programmable amplitude and offset. Interfaces via GPIB, RS-232, and floppy disk for waveform transfer. Supports external clock input and trigger modes. Applications include radar simulation, disk drive testing, communications system development, and semiconductor characterization requiring precise timing and amplitude control.
