Functions
AC power transformer designed to couple energy between circuits via magnetic flux, delivering galvanic isolation and impedance transformation. Conveys power through primary and secondary windings with a fixed turns ratio to step voltage up or down within a defined VA rating and line-frequency range. Laminated core minimizes losses; windings embedded in protective housing with insulation class suitable for operating temperature; cooling mechanism enables thermal management; supports mounting and connection to source and load, suitable for powering or isolating equipment and for impedance matching in control or metering circuits.
