The A. A. Lab Systems AN-1005 Anemometry System is a portable compact Thermal Anemometry System (Hot-Wire Anemometer and Hot-Film Anemometer), based on the AN-1003 Hot-Wire Anemometry system channels. The Hot-Wire Anemometer channels can work in CTA (Constant Temperature Anemometer) mode as well as CCA (Constant Current Anemometer) mode. The System has a built-in microprocessor with parallel communication and data acquisition capabilities.
The An-1005 mainframe uses a bright LCD display to show four channels simultaneously, using a five digit voltmeter.
The A. A. Lab Systems AN-1005 Anemometry System is an ideal solution for most Fluid Dynamics measurement and Aeronautics Measurement applications. Based on a proven Thermal Anemometry Technique and Cold-Wire Anemometry, the system can measure the Flow (Air or Liquid Velocity and Turbulence) and Temperature Fluctuations in real-time, saving data to disk or displaying and analyzing data.
The A. A. Lab Systems AN-1005 Anemometry System may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Multi-channel hot-wire anemometry system for measuring instantaneous velocity fluctuations and turbulence characteristics in fluid flows. Features constant temperature anemometer circuits with linearization capabilities, signal conditioning modules, and data acquisition interfaces. Supports single and multi-point velocity measurements with frequency response up to several kilohertz. Includes probe positioning mechanisms and calibration systems for wind tunnel testing, boundary layer analysis, and turbulent flow research applications.
