The Microchip / Hampshire / RTF TSHARC-12 Devil Ray Analog Resistive Touch Screen Controller Board is designed to provide high performance, cost-effective, concurrent touch screen decoding for all (4), (5) or (8) wire analog resistive touch screen regardless of manufacturer or construction.

The auto-detect features of TSHARC-12 Devil Ray Analog Resistive Touch Screen Controller enable it to auto-detect and configure itself for both RS-232 and USB communications. In addition, the Devil Ray will auto detect and configure itself for any analog resistive touch screen using either one of the two industry standard (4) or (5) wire pin-outs or any one of three industry standard (8) wire pin-outs.

The TSHARC-12 Devil Ray supports 12-bit (4,096 x 4,096) resolution which will perform well in all writing or touch applications.

The Microchip TSHARC-12d Devil Ray Analog Resistive Touch Screen Controller Board may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
