The Emerson / Motorola / Force Computers SPARC CPU-8VT Single Board Computer ensures continuous access to your applications and data. It combines excellent performance value with high availability for embedded telecom or C3I applications. The SPARC CPU-8VT is ideal for designers who want to incorporate the latest pro-cessor technology into their embedded applications without sacrificing design time and resources. This 6U VME single board computer features Fujitsu's latest TurboSPARC 32-bit microprocessor. At 170 MHz, the SPARC CPU-8VT delivers 125 MHz SPARCstation 10 performance.

With the SPARC CPU-8VT, redundant I/O features begin with dual SCSI-2 interfaces providing high availability and more choices for connection to advanced peripherals such as scanners, disks, tapes, and CD-ROM drives. Two independent Ethernet interfaces protect systems from network failures and improve networking reliability.

The Motorola SPARC CPU-8VT VME Single Board Computer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
