The Omega PSW-800 Series is a family of industrial pressure switches designed for pressure monitoring and control applications in pneumatic, hydraulic, process, utility, and industrial automation systems. The series utilizes either diaphragm-piston or sealed-piston sensing elements depending on pressure range and provides adjustable pressure setpoints with a locking adjustment screw for repeatable operation.
The PSW-800 family is intended for operation in demanding industrial environments where a reliable electrical switching function is required at a specified pressure threshold. The switches incorporate silver contacts, rugged mechanical construction, color-coded flying leads, and a standard conduit connection for field wiring. Models are available from vacuum service through 7500 psi operating ranges.
The product family includes both vacuum and pressure configurations and supports applications ranging from low-pressure pneumatic sensing through high-pressure hydraulic monitoring.

Functions
Monitors gas or liquid pressure and actuates electrical output when predefined rising or falling pressure thresholds are reached. Adjustable increasing-setpoint range 50 to 250 psig and decreasing-setpoint range 70 to 220 psig with a selectable deadband of 10 to 30 psi. Provides a maximum proof pressure of 1000 psi and employs a diaphragm-piston sensing element for accurate differential measurement. Suitable for control, alarms, and safety interlocks in hydraulic or pneumatic systems, delivering rapid actuation upon crossing the trip thresholds and maintaining stable switching within the specified ranges.
