The Abaco Systems / Ramix PMC410 Display/Switch PMC Module provides direct event/status display combined with a input mechanism for localized operator control.

Sixteen, independently controlled Light Emitting Diode (LED) units provide a flexible solution for indicating status and operator alerts. Arranged as two rows of 8 units, the LEDs may be ordered either as all Green, or a combination of Red, Green and Yellow. LED state (i.e. on/off) is controlled from host software via a very simple interface. Current status of each LED can be read to simplify control software. Each LED is separately controlled; any display output may be created.

A frequent requirement in many applications is a mechanism for local configuration and/or identification. The PMC410 provides this with two, sixteen position rotary switches. The current value of the switch is read as a single, eight bit value.

The Abaco Systems PMC410-B Display/Switch PMC Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
