The Microchip / Microsemi / Symmetricom XL-GPS Time and Frequency Receiver is a high performance GPS based instrument that generates precise time and frequency signals referenced to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This networked managed instrument is an excellent solution for test and measurement, central timing systems, process automation, range timing and power industry applications.
The Microsemi XL-GPS Display/Keypad Interface may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Interfaces with host GPS receiver through serial communication protocol, typically RS-232 or proprietary digital interface.
