The IET 1607-A Transfer-Function and Immittance Bridge is a null-type instrument designed for the measurement of transadmittance, transimpedance, transfer current ratio, transfer voltage ratio, input and output impedance, input and output admittance, hybrid parameters, reflection coefficient, and standing-wave ratio from 25 to 1500 megacycles, with reduced accuracy above 1000 megacycles. Measurements can be made on active as well as passive elements, such as vacuum tubes and transistors. The uses of the instrument may be roughly divided into transfer-function and immittance measurements.
