The Barco / Metheus P1700 Series PCI Graphics Controllers is an ultra high resolution display subsystem for the PCI bus.
The P1760 is the first board in the new P1700-Series of PCI boards, designed to be used with host computers which have the Industry Standard PCI bus.
The P1760 is designed particularly for air traffic control, antisubmarine warfare, simulation, medical imaging, and other applications which require particularly high resolution graphics, whilst retaining X Window or Windows/NT compatibility. The P1760 maximum resolution is 2048 x 2048 pixels. The standard configuration includes 8 bit planes with options for an 8 bit overlay and 16Mb of off-screen memory.
The P1760 is a COTS product, and is also available in rugged versions for military applications on land, sea and air.
