MKS Instruments 260MF-1 Modular Control System Overview

Features:

  • Control Either Solenoid or Piezoelectric Control Valves
  • Accurately Maintain a Set Pressure
  • Accept an Input from a Variety of Flow Transducers
  • Provide Closed-Loop Flow Control
The Type 260 Controller will accept an input signal from a pressure transducer and control either solenoid or Piezoelectric control valves to accurately maintain a set pressure or accept an input from a variety of flow transducers to provide closed-loop flow control in conjunction with the above control valves.

External signals can command the external set point, close the valve or switch to the manual control. Front panel controls allow the operator to zero the input (pressure or flow transducer), turn the controller ON or OFF, and change the set point. Internal accessible controls allow the selection of input range, control loop tuning and manual valve control.

Front panel LED indicators show the level valve drive signal, process limit status, and override (if the controller is off).

Two or more 260 controllers can be combined to provide multi-gas ratio control.

The MKS Instruments 260MF-1 Modular Control System may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
