Ogura Clutch AMC-80 Electromagnetic Clutch Overview

The Orgura Clutch AMC Series Electromagnetic Clutches are mounted to the rotor with ball bearings, providing easy installation and reducing maintenance requirements. By mounting the armature to the hub via leaf springs, backlash is minimized and armature rattle is eliminated. Elimination of splines provides faster response and high performance by overcoming friction in the armature and hub. The AM series units perform relentlessly year after year, even in heavy duty applications, due to their excellent heat dissipation.
The Ogura Clutch AMC-80 Electromagnetic Clutch may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
