Parker / Compumotor PDS15-E Step / Direction Drive Overview
Features:
- Torques from 60 oz-in (0.4 Nm) to 900 oz-in (6.4 Nm)
- Speeds up to 50 rps (3,000 rpm)
- Two Current Ranges 0.9–3.0 A and 2.5–5.0 A peak
The Parker/Compumotor PD-E Series are EMC compliance packaged mini-stepping systems that feature a 70VDC bus, peak output current of 3A or 5A/phase, and 4000 step/rev resolution to give smooth rotation al all speeds. These drives operate from all AC supply voltages in the 100-240V range without adjustment.
Features of the PD-E Series include:
• Torques from 60 oz-in (0.4 Nm) to 900 oz-in (6.4 Nm)
• Speeds up to 50 rps (3,000 rpm)
• Four selectable motor resolutions between 400 and 4,000 step/rev
• Eight optional motors with 10 ft (3 m) cable. Available in 23, 34 and 42 frame sizes
Features specific to the PDS-E Series Step/Direction Drives include:
• Directly compatible with Compumotor 6000 Series controls
• Directly compatible with open-collector user supplied pulse sources
• Internal dual range speed-control oscillator
Features of the PDHX-E Series Drive/Indexer include:
• Up to 32 drives can be daisy chained via RS-232C
• Non-volatile memory stores up to 64 motion programs
• 7-segment diagnostic display
• Dedicated inputs for end-of-travel and home position switches
• Ten user-definable inputs, 6 outputs
• Sinking or sourcing outputs; software selectable
• Optional remote panel or thumbwheel input
• High-speed (15 µS) registration input
Features of the PD-E Series include:
