Description
This unit features independent control of up to three axes. Motor speed is controlled by a single-turn potentiometer located on the unit. Motion occurs only as long as one of the two directional buttons is depressed. The ability to take fixed length steps in step mode is possible with closed loop control.

The Exfo / Burleigh Inchworm Controllers offers high resolution capabilities of Inchworm motors in a variety of applications. These Controllers use sophisticated PZT drive electronics that provide the voltage, current and timing required for rapid actuation of the drive elements. They are designed for high-speed operation while maintaining the highest possible resolution. They are programmable and can operate from one to three axes (or more) independently or simultaneously in open or closed-loop mode. You can control the Inchworm Motors manually or remotely with TTL signals or RS-232 protocols.

The Burleigh 6005 Handset for Inchworm Controllers may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
