The NuAire NU-5100 has better the relative humidity levels and recovery time, the faster the CO2 recovery time. NuAire's Purecell Incubator offers excellent reative humidity (RH) recovery after a door opening compared to other manufacturer's models. The positive pressure interior coupled with an extra large evaporative water pan allow for RH levels of 80% or better at a temperature set point of 37C with the door closed, and minimal loss of RH during a 15 second door opening.

The NuAire DH AutoFlow Incubator uses a microprocessor based, non-dispersive infrared CO₂ sensor. The amount of energy diffused to the detector is an exact logarithmic function of the CO2 concentration in the gas between source and detector. The wavelengths used are absorbed by a filter in the CO2 bandwidth making the measurements insensitive to other components, such as water vapor. Advanced design provides a very stable drift-free output requiring less frequent calibration. The sensor is within the chamber air plenum so very accurate CO₂ control is achieved. A HEPA filter surrounds the blower on the positive pressure side and continuously cleans the circulated chamber air within the incubator. The HEPA filter uniformly distributes and cleans the air within the chamber at a rate of one complete change per minute.

The NU-5510 DHD AutoFlow Direct Heat Decontamination CO 2 Incubator provides continuous HEPA filtration guarantying the greatest control of airborne contaminants. The dual decontamination cycles, both at 95°C wet decontamination and a 145°C dry sterilization cycle, are exceptionally useful for cell line changes and /or when working with hazardous agents.
