The Cooper / Gardner Denver TM12 / TM34 / TMH Tightening Module is a 12-bit self-calibrating A/D transformer with parameters in EEPROM packaged in a stable, EMV-tested metal cassette. It runs on a VxWorks 5.3 real-time operating system with multitasking capability to offer 17 different fastening strategies (sequences), evaluation of 2 transducers and motor curret and resolver angle. The Tightening Module has automatic transducer identification with available software download via ARCNET. The unit has a text display at the station controller which provides comprehensive service messages. All connections can be made on the front plate.

The Tightening Module is available in three types with the housing shape the same for all three: a compact design, 280 x 60 x 200 mm. It has an integrated network filter, an LED to show operational readiness and bus activity, a reset button, temperature monitoring with fault message, start-up current limiting and supply voltage monitoring. Error information is shown via a 2-digit 7-segment display.

The Gardner Denver TM12 Tightening Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
