The Epsilon Ei Series Indexing Drive from Emerson Motion Control is a stand-alone, fully digital, brush-less servo drive that is designed and constructed with high performance and flexibility standards. With the use of State-Space algorithms, tuning the Ei Series is made as simple as possible. The Ei Series Indexer Drive is designed to operate with up to a 10:1 inertia mismatch; by adjusting the parameter settings, a high inertial mismatch of 50:1 is possible. As an added measure of efficiency and capability, the Ei Series Indexer Drive offers complete diagnostics for quick troubleshooting. The Ei Series features a diagnostic display for informing the user of operation or fault statuses. With its built in fault storage memory, the Ei Series stores the last ten faults in non-volatile memory along with a time stamp for easy recall.
