ElectroGrip DR 5A Electrostatic Grip Controller Overview
Features:
- System Comprises DR5A Control and Power Module and DR5V High-Voltage Module

- System is Connected via Various Styles of Isolating or Non-isolating Couplers
The ElectroGrip DR5 Electrostatic Driver comprises two basic units; a DR5V high
voltage module, and a DR5A control and power module, connected via an SMA coaxial cable and
various styles of isolating or nonisolating coupler, as required by the application.
The DR5V contains computer-controlled high-voltage low-current power supplies for charging electrodes of electrostatic gripping systems. Such systems are used to hold delicate substrates for semiconductors, liquid crystal displays, thin film heads, etc. Bipolar or monopolar output voltages from <+/-100V to +/-10kV are manufactured. The DR5A and DR5V Driver set is used in conjunction with electrostatic chucks and robot end effectors and interfaces directly with the Electrogrip GC3 Gas Controller for electrostatic temperature controlling chucks. Operation is controlled through a parallel or serial interface. There are no manual switches. Setup programming may be performed using a computer terminal or the Electrogrip DS1 Handheld Terminal.
