The Grundfos MG / MGE Series Permanent Magnet Motors frequency-controlled permanent-magnet motors for single-phase or three-phase mains connection. The motors incorporate a PI controller.

The motors can be connected to a signal from an external sensor and a setpoint signal enabling control in closed loop. The motors can also be used for an open-loop system in which the setpoint signal is used as a speed control signal.

The Grundfos MG80A2-14FT85-B Permanent Magnet Motor may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
