The Honeywell 627 Series MiniCOP Computing Modules (Models 627-1002RC and 627-1003RC) are industrial rated microprocessor-based computing modules that provide an interface between intelligent factory floor devices and the 620 Platform of Honeywell controllers. Each module has the capability of being programmed in the BASIC09 Programming Language or optionally the OS-9 Assembly Language. The MiniCOP modules can collect, monitor, store, and display data retrieved from connected intelligent factory floor devices. They can also perform high-level data processing on the data to include such functions as trigonometry, floating point math, or practically any operation capable of being programmed in BASIC09 or the OS-9 Assembly Language.
The Honeywell 627-1002R MiniCOP Computing Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
