The Siemens AddFEM Add 7 Front End Modules are from the Add 7 product family which provides add-on products which allow the realization of high or specific requirements from the process control and automation technology. These modules have twelve analog inputs of which six can be used as current inputs and six optionally as current or voltage inputs. These modules also have fifteen digital inputs, of which three can be used as counting pulse inputs for speed detection with and without recognition of the direction of rotation. In addition, these modules have eight analog outputs and sixteen digital outputs which can also be used as digital inputs.
