The Kollmorgen / Pacific Scientific / Bautz E-series DC Servo Motors are a family of permanent magnet DC-Servo motors designed to satisfy the demands of a broad range of industrial and professional applications, where highly precise speed and/or positioning performance are required. E-series permanent magnet DC-servo motors can match most of the applications in terms of precision and speed. The high level of technological know-how and the extreme accuracy of quality control make these servo motors highly reliable. Beside many other applications this range perfectly matches the requirements of the booming segment of battery driven robots. The motors are factory manufactured in 3 frame sizes with and without tach with torques from 0,2 to 3,6 Nm and nominal speeds up to 5000 rpm.

The Bautz E586MGD E-Series DC Servo Motor may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
