The H2W Technologies VCS10-023-BS-01-MCS Voice Coil Positioning Stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCC10-15-023-1X to generate a continuous/peak force of 2.3 lbs [10.2 N]/6.9 lbs [30.7 N] with a total stroke length of 1.0 in [25.4 mm]. The 1.0-micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. It comes supplied with a ball slide which allows for smooth motion. < br/>
The motor coil is the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. Power is supplied to the motor via a high flex, high reliability flat ribbon cable. This voice coil positioning stage also comes supplied with a thru hole, should your application require a hollow actuator. The voice coil motor has been mounted to the side of the bearing assembly in order to reduce the overall height and length of the system.
