The VWR refrigerated stainless steel open bath 13R is specifically designed for use with any VWR or VWR Signature immersion circulator to control temperature from 0 to 150°C. Use where a container with the durability of stainless steel is needed. The 13R is not a controlled cooling source It will continuously cool down to the capacity of the refrigeration system. The unit can be used to 0°C and with an immersion circulator can also be used to maintain a constant temperature near ambient.

The Cole-Parmer EW-12112-10 Digital Circulator is primarily used for heating and circulating fluid in a reservoir supplied by the user. Although not designed for closed loop circulation, it can be used for this purpose.

Standard controller refrigerated and heating circulating baths are designed to provide precise temperature control of fluids for closed loop (pressure only) circulation to external equipment or to be used as a stand alone bath. The reservoir may be used for immersing samples while the unit is connected to an external device. All wetted parts are corrosion resistant 300 series stainless steel.
